What are you talking about? Have you ever been on one? In the late 80's they were good for 14.6. Thats plenty fast enough to get going. Its probably better because you know its not going to lift the front like a 600/1000.

Nick congrats on the purchase. For $500 thats damn hard to beat. Im sure you will love it.

Im 6'5'' and will be on this before the year is over:

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with the purchase, I don't think I could have asked for a better deal. Cool thing about this bike is just how hard it is to lift the front tire. lol Look it up with Google, people have been complaining about not being able to pop wheelies on these things since they were new!

No thanks - but glad to hear you're getting the free bikes too. I was going to have to smack you upside the head at Woodward for passing those up.

Nope. Not passing them up. I've wanted another sport bike since I got rid of my Katana, and the deal on this one was just too good to pass up. It needs some work, but I knew that before I drove out there to see it. Now I just need to accumulate some parts, and decide whether I want to search for original plastics or just ride it without them for a while.

Congrats on the purchase. I'd love to get a bike one day. I was suppose to be giving one by my ex father in law, but things went sour with him.

Yeah, Shawn and I are heading out that way at about 3pm, we're going to stop in Ypsi and pick up Grandpa's truck and trailer, I think. Otherwise, we'll be cruising out in my Silverado. If you want to come with us, I'm sure we could use an extra set of hands!
