Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

The car can always be repainted, the trans can be fixed. What I question is the work done to the motor. Buying a cam'd car is risky. If the owner let 2nd gear go, and a crappy paint job, what is the motor like? Granted the parts are all there, that is still a good buy. I would just hate to buy a cam'd car that needs paint work and trans work, and have the motor go 500 miles later. I will say that there are no guarantees with a stock motor either. Do what you want, not what people here say. If the car has the right hardware, get it. Thats what I am doing.
Looks like a good deal. I just dont want a project. The paint was black originally , By the time you get the paint looking right and the trans ill have more into it then waning. Thanks for the lead though
Looks like you are trying to find a needle in a hay stack in my opinion...if you want a 6-speed f-body for under 5 grand its going to most likely need work especially if its a ls1. Like with me last year i couldn't find any 6-speed cars in good condition for under 6 but then i found my auto and just dealt with the auto because its such a clean car. Again this is just my opinion. Honestly if i could sell my car i would pick that blue Camaro up in a sec!
