Well, it sure took me long enough, but now that I have my tires taken care of, and I have the SS hood located, refinished, and installed, I'm finally turning my attention back to the exhaust.
I bought a Mother's Powerball and polished up the tips -- they seemed to come out pretty well. Needed to do a little sanding on the bottom edge of a couple of the outlets because of the previous owner's indiscriminate driveway entry (!), but otherwise it was no big deal.
I'm planning to get it over to S&K in Royal Oak next week for the installation. Anyone see any issues (beyond a slight drop in torque) with adapting the SLP Dual-Dual's 3" pipes to my mighty 3800? I've already asked a couple of the guys on MiFBody about it and they thought it would be OK.
Pics to come after the installation...

Actually, I ended up using Mothers Billet polish -- I forgot to mail-order any Autosol and when my window of opportunity opened up, I had to buy something quick. I'll have to remember to order some Autosol so I can use it for maintenance of the tips.
