  • wanted ram air hood for my 95 bird

if any of you have any ram air hoods for a 95 bird laying around let me know. I would like to put one on my wifes car since i need to repaint the car this spring (has a few dings and chips i dont like) I figure i may as well search for a hood too. I dont want to buy a new one since this is a budget build car for my wife im sure she will trash it somehow.

Well worth the drive and it looks great on Larrys car! I would say this is probably going to be the best deal you will find!

Larry or Brian may be able to show more pictures of what it looked like before they got it painted. But go to Larrys album and you can see a lot of pictures of the hood on his car. I will say (I have seen it in person many times) that this hood is well worth $205. I think they found it on Ebay I am sure Brian or Larry will chime in with more information for you.

We were typing at the same time, yes that is the hood on his car and the quality is really nice in my opinion from seeing it before it was painted and after it was painted. I know Larry played around with fitting it to his car and its not "perfect" but it looks really good. I think he fitted it by playing with the adjustments? Like I said one of them will chime in with more information and specifics for ya.

                  thank you darren.
Larry from what i can tell the hood looks really good and $205 seems very cheap so at the same time im skeptical of the quality so any info would be greatly appreciated.

                    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fiber...Q5fAccessories

Make sure you let the hood breathe for a month or so after purchasing it. We bought it and almost immediately had it painted and it bubbled the paint in a few small spots - nothing major and barely noticable but from my understanding had we let the hood really cure up and breathe before painting it we wouldn't have had the bubbles at all. Dad's / Larry's car (Plum Nuts) is definitely presentable and fitment was pretty good. It's not show quality but it's not bad at all.
