  • WTB: New starter??

So the starter in my Camaro is shitting out on me every time i go so start it it takes several try's it just clicks alot then finaly engages when it feels like it...i was told i can upgrade to a 97 lt1 starter and its smaller...or rebuild my old one. Basicaly im trying to figure out wich route is better? New (whats good?), used (97?), or should i rebuild my existing one? Didnt know quite where to post this thread.

    Thanks guys,
    Nick

J&P on grosbeck does good work but they are not close to you.

They are usualy the same price as auto parts stores but they rebuild them in house vs a chinese replacement.

okay so i went to the parsts store to get a rebuild kit and he said they are a un-rebuildable starter...? And a new one costs $170...idk i just dont have the 170 bucks right now so im trying to find any way around it.
