Looking for a new car. Had to sell my 98 Firebird to buy a winter vehicle. Im now in the market for another F-Body. Looking to spend around 2500, but no more than 3000. Prefer t-tops or conv. but may be interested on others. Would like to have a V-8 but a V-6 would work also. Let me know if you have one to sell or know anybody with one. Thank you.

Yeah I figured that but thought I would try my luck. I love the 4th gens but really any style would work. As far as doing any type of mechanical work, I can do some things on my own. But even if its something that I cant do, I have a master mechanic cousin that is always willing to do work for me. Especially on a F-body.

what is considered new enough? might helpOriginally posted by 98BirdRed View PostThanks for the offer, but Im trying to find something a little bit newer. But thanks again.
you should probably decide between an 8 or 6. do you want a good condition newer car with not as much go....then a v6 is your best bet. or do you care more about it being fast and can put up with an older car with higher miles and worse condition...then a v8 is your option
there are major trade offs between a v6 and v8 car in the price range you are looking

I would consider selling this 1999 W68 Firebird for $2800 the way it is now. A bit more after I fix the left 1/4 panel. I really was not looking for another car to trade but rather had cash or a running LS1 or LS based engine.
