Need the front ground effects for this 1999 Firebird with the sport appearance package. They may even be the same as a Camaro with the same package. Need a/c condenser, a/c lines and EGR valve also for the 3800 V6.

sounds like you bought a car just like my old one. Id check camarov6.com for those parts. The ground effects can be very pricey (1500 from a dealer if they even have em yet). Out of curiousity where did you buy the car from? I sold mine a bit over a year ago to a kid in indiana, i sure hope he didn't trash it by now lolOriginally posted by 2002Z4CSS View PostNeed the front ground effects for this 1999 Firebird with the sport appearance package. The dealer is probably your best chance mainly because anything used will be scarce and or damaged since the front fascias are always smoked on these cars. You could consider a kit from Wings West as an alternative.Originally posted by redfbird99 View Postsounds like you bought a car just like my old one. Id check camarov6.com for those parts. I actually traded a 1971 Pontiac Lemans GT-37 for this car. This Firebird is very loaded with options. Power everything including seat and antenna. Even has the F41 option with a rear disc limited slip rear axle instead of drum rear brakes. Has traction control too. Everything seems to work except for the a/c. Even has drive by wire throttle that I did not know was standard on a V6. Factory equilizer CD player, fog lights, power windows, locks , mirrors, t-tops, remote keyless entry with parimeter alarm. I even got the owners manual and the factory window sticker with it.Originally posted by redfbird99 View Postsounds like you bought a car just like my old one. Id check camarov6.com for those parts. check for y87 code, that would be the posi rear end. w68 is the ground effects package. Mine was loaded with the ground effects, chrome wheels, power everything, ttops, cdplayer, disc brakes, traction control etc.. but it did not have the y87 posi/3.42 gears rear end, i swapped an ls1 rear end in the car but then put the factory open 3.08 rear back in to sell it. Drive by wire was in fact standard.Originally posted by 2002Z4CSS View PostI actually traded a 1971 Pontiac Lemans GT-37 for this car. This Firebird is very loaded with options. drive by wire started in '99. My 99 5-speed had it and i hated it. Its probably not very noticeble on an automatic but it lagged bad with the 5 speed. I could not speed shift that car at all, it would hiccup and chirp the tires negatively.-Joel

Was the 1997 a 3800 V6? I don't know if the a/c lines and EGR are the same or not.Originally posted by 04DetroitLS View Posti have everything for the a/c (worked when removed), but its for a 97... LMK if you want it + EGRs off the firebird and a few Lo milage Wbody ones (if they'll work)
