Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Kind of a shot in the dark but cant hurt.... I need:
LS1 PCM for under $100 - must be part number 12200411
LT1 wiring harness for a 96-97 manual trans car.
Is that a typo or do you really need an LS1 PCM? I actually have one but I don't know the p/n. I'll have to dig it out of the rafters of the barn if you really do need an LS1 unit.
1999 Pontiac Trans Am- LS1 - M6 - ITSSLOW - 12.998@109.59 - SOLD
1994 Chevrolet Camaro - 3.4L - M5 - ITSSLWR - 16.558@85.38 2003 Chevrolet Blazer
not a typo. I am planning on starting my LS1 PCM and ignition conversion project this winter.
Alright. I'll have to go digging. What is so special about that part number? Is that a certain year or something? Were the PCM's different from manual to auto cars? This was out of a 98 a4 car.

needs to be out of an 01-02 car (preferably 02). DO NOT use a 98 pcm.
ive heard the 98s are a completely different harness/PCM. While it could probably be made to work its not what the kit is designed around and im not going to be the one to find out but thanks tom!

No problem. If you want to try it to see its yours. The only reason I have it is because a buddy of mine wrecked his car and parted it. I only kept it because it has a tune for a stock LS1 with a 125 shot of spray.

98's are totally different, in stock form I wouldnt touch it for what your doing, but if you have the tools you could reflash it to the 02 programing. I had my truck pcm reflashed to the car programing then updated to the newer OS. In all reality you could use anything 99 through 02 maybe even 03 and have it reflashed, aslong as its GEN III, and 24x.
I was just looking at that post on tech... Good deal.. Was wondering why you wanted an ls1 pcm, now I know.. sort of..lol
several reasons:
- I do my own tuning so HPTuners > TunerCrap
- 8 Coilpacks > Single Coil
- No more opti = greater reliability, dont have to worry about overrevving it.
- Short plug wires > long ones
- 8,000 RPM capacity > LT1's 7K capacity. Wont be able to take advantage of this yet, but i will in the future
edit: also i dont think im going to need a harness anymore. Im just going to use the one ive got and sell the rest of my stuff off
