Had a larger alternator and larger optima (they are junk IMO). I fried the stock alternator and a bigger alternator. I got it warrantied and then put in a cap. Never had a problem after. Was had 4 12's, powered 6x9's, 4x10s, different door speakers (5 1/4 I think), 4x6's in the dash, and two sets of tweeters. The amps for the 12's alone were 3200amps (2 1600 audiobahns). The 6x9's were off a 3rd amp that I think was 400 or 500. This wasn't a half assed install like you see in 9 out of 10 cars.

um still looking for something to throw my subs in I am dying without subs... Cant find anything on CL either which surprises me and I dont wanna buy new since I am just going to use it for a little while...

I am also looking for 4 gauge wire and maybe a large fuse, really looking to build my stock of car audio back up, so who has what that is taking up space that they want out? I have a few amps and some subs I wanna do something with! Interior speakers? Although those are cheap...

Well, 2 12"s could mean two MTX 9500's which are 1k rms apiece. That would be pretty mean Darren, one of my neighbors back home has one in his Jeep and if you stick your head in his window you can't breathe. But oh yeah I forgot to mention the cheapest I've ever seen them is $600 a sub.

                Used to own a Firebird.
