  • 9-inch, moser s60, 12-bolt

tired of the garbage factory 10 bolt; as I dont want to put any money into it (gears) and dont want to try to build it up..

wouldnt mind if someone was getting rid of an existing set up, either being a 9-inch, 12 bolt or moser s60..with some kind of gear set up; I plan on 4.30's but I need the axle more then anything.

Let me know because they go for $2200 new complete with axle choice and gear selection, and wondered if anyone had anything out there that they could part with..its a long shot but I figured Id check before I forked 2k over to moser..thanks guys!

9" or S60 is your only choices, i never even wasted my time with a 12 bolt.

The torque arm put stress on the snout of a 12 bolt. 9 inchers have wicked aftermarket support, but my vote is for the Dana, just for sheer strength. I have friends who have run low 7s at almost 190 mph on a stock dana housing. Eric L

that is fine, people can have them and make them work but ultimatley they are not as strong which is why no one recommends using a 12 bolt in a 6 speed car.

Yep, pois is shot so its only a one tire fire. I'm probably gonna go straight for a 9" as I'd rather have too much rear in case I ever make any serious power.

i think a 12 bolt on a 6 speed car would be just fine for street use. Hard launches at the track are another story.
