I am looking to clean up the engine compartment over the winter..getting rid of some wires and hoses, trying to make things look a little nicer..my question is this, does anyone know the size gromet i would need on the passenger valve cover.I want to eliminate the long hose that runs to the tb and and valve cover..I want to install a k&n push in breather..maybe a part #?thanks

Doesn't help too much but I bought a breather from the local O'Reilleys and it worked perfectly.

That said, though, I'm now second guessing my breather. A lot of knowledgeable people on LS1Tech and CamaroZ28 going on and on about how that's creating a vacuum leak, doesn't allow the air to evacuate correctly, and is not allowing proper function of the PCV. Hard to argue with people pushing two, three times as much horse as me and still having a fully functioning PCV system.

Only problem with those breathers is that sometimes you can smell the the crankcase vapors in you car while your are driving. This is what I did to my PCV to dress it up. It still works and it looks nice and you don't get any fumes in the car. Oh yeah and the wife does'nt complain about the smell anymore either.

I did the push in breather but I'm thinking about going back to the factory setup.
