what does that look like? I am looking for a bottom feeder as my hood has no nostrils to breath through.Originally posted by DETROITMUSCLE View PostI have the suncoast creations intake if you want it for free

joel do you have the room under your hood for a lid style intake? I always heard lt1 front ends couldn't do the lid style because of it hitting the hood------------------------------------------

I have no choice but to buy one and see. The stock LT1 hood indeed incompatible with an LS1 radiator support and lid, but I have an aftermarket fiberglass SS hood that seems to have considerably more room.Originally posted by 97rs4life View Postjoel do you have the room under your hood for a lid style intake? Im guessing it will be close and i will have to do some modification in a few areas. Worst case ill have to make my own radiator support, but i like the clean look of a factory one.
Ive found an LS1 radiator support now just need the lid and a filter
