Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
yeah, I dont think that Durango could have hauled a 4 place enclosed trailer very safely.
I think it would have been pretty bad. I have hauled an enclosed 4 place that was loaded with my dad's v8 2002 Explorer and it got iffy at times in the snow. I had to haul an empty 6 place home from work one day and the 12 miles was more than enough. My stomach was in my throat the whole time. I wouldn't even of wanted to see what would it would of been like in a snow storm!

When we bought my 2-year old XC600SP, my dad was laughing because it came with a 2-place enclosed trailer with only 750miles on it and cost less than his XC600SP that he bought the year before new from the dealer!

The trany was rebuilt in 2005. It needed a new pump. So that's been gone through.
The guy was paranoid about the truck.
A shit load of warranty work. I got a whole folder of maintenance work done to the truck.
Even the lifters were replaced in 2003, all fluids were changed, radiator flushed, Intake gasket, thermostat, fuel pump, and a whole lot more.
Every oil change receipt. LOL. What a find. LOL.....I just hope it all lasts!

Not often you find a car like that for something like a truck or a regular car. I have a 3" binder full of every receipt for my Trans Am. The guy was super anal and had every little thing taken care of. A week before I bought it he noticed the drivers window was slowing down so he had both window motors replaced.

There is a 1999 Tahoe with 118,000 miles here in Bay City. I went to go look at it about 3 weeks ago. The guy was asking $5900 for it but would go down to $5600. It was pretty clean. With aftermarket rims.
So, nothing has been going at the auction, and I cant find anything around here worth buying.
So I get out of work early on Friday, go to the bank and grab $5000 cash.
My bro in law and I go see the Tahoe and take it for a ride this time. Everything work flawlessly. So we want to deal. $5000 cash, the guy says no. He already sold the truck 2 times but the people can't get financed. And were like yeah, we have $5000 cash right here. He said he would sell it for 5k without the rims and tires on it and toss the stock ones back on it. I said we would think about it.
We go back to Bryans (my bro in law) shop. Justyn (my Nephew) and I start looking on craigslist again. (I have been looking 3 times a day for the last month!).
We see this 99 Dodge Ram 1500 that was just listed.
Bryan calls on it, the guys says 4 people are already in line for it. Bryan pressures a little bit more...we want the truck!!
The guy tells us to call back in the morning.
Needless to say we left at 8:30am this morning to go pick it up. It was almost by Detroit.
1999 Dodge Ram 1500
72,000 miles
5.9L motor
Chrome Nerf bars
Fiberglass matching topper
Pioneer CD player and all new speakers all around ($600.00 receipt)
Brand new good year wrangler tires
Bug shield
Rain guards
I bought it for $5500.00 cash!!!!
So I'm a happy camper!
I got home and did a KBB and its worth over $8k.
The guy didn't know what he had.
He actually took it off craigs list last night because his phone was ringing off the hook!
But I got it!
This is simply a great post mate, if you can show some pictures of the parts such as the deflector shield / bug shield, it would be great.
