V8 Clam shell mounts-ASAP

I have new poly inserts but only have the v6 clamshell mounts, will they work for the 8 poly centers or do I need new ones?

SHould I just hit Zone and get them or will it have to be a bone yard?

If anyone has a set they are not using and could spare, shoot me a price, very broke right now but a must to get her on the road..

I looked EVERYWHERE for mine. Autozone and the dealer wanted 100 each. But that was for ls1 mounts, not sure on the third gen stuff. A VERY nice member on here tossed me a pair just to help get my project going again. Thanks again larry!

do you need the mounts that attach to the car or the mounts that attach to the motor? I have some from a '85 5.0 z28

Both.. I have the frame mounts, but they are the v6 ones, I re checked it out last night, the motor I have does not have any on it as well..

I am so close to getting this project done in a weekend I just don't wanna run into any major snags..

But looks like I need a converter, motor mounts, and torque arm.. trying to figure out how to modify my stock torque arm to work with the 2004r..

but anyways to answer your question, yes I need both, how much?

Well Bad informs me the ones he had were rotten, so now I am back on the look..

I was hoping to have some by the weekend so I can throw the engine back in..
I can get solid mounts from summit for less than 100 bucks. But the thing is I am not sure if they will bolt in the same area or I have to drill new holes..

yes please check for an old pair, money is VERY tight right now, but I have to get something to use so I can get the car running..
