AC Compressor

Looking for an AC compressor for a 1993-1997 LT1. My dad took his car to Mr. Muffler to have them charge it and apparently when he hooked something up to the compressor to test it, it started shooting sparks everywhere. So - we need a new AC Compressor. Anyone have one that they don't need after doing an AC delete?

Yeah, apparently the internals of the AC compressor was entirely seized up.

im kinda close to the same boat mine is leaking at the compresser its self and it makes noise so if you happen to find 2 of them let me know a price as well.....

B, I have the one off of my 3800, if there the same.

Can you take a pic? The one I'm currently using is from my 3.4L v6 - the plug on the LT1 harness was slightly different but we bought the harness plug off e-bay and with the right plug it still works great. So I think it might be possible to get it to work on dad's car.

Awesome - it still worked OK in his car? Did he do an AC delete that he doesn't need it anymore? Where is he located?

yea it works he did do the a/c delete its almost new basically hes gonna drop it off at my place we are in port huron, do you know where steves garage is at?
