Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Looking for a complete SLP LM1 catback for a 1998 firebird transam..preferably used. I know some of you may have one and are just sick of that drone; I cant wait to hear it everyday! Let me know what you want for it and hopefully we can work something out!
as soon as i can find a replacement for my exhaust, i would be more than willing to sell my lm1. everything from the y-pipe back including the slp dual tips. let me know if you are interested.
i <3 my borla. its not super loud, even with all the work that ive done to the car... ..and after i ripped out the back seats n such. just a low rumble so yeah, my vote goes towards that

I heard the same set up as I want to run the other day..Im surprised because most of us here only drive our cars for a couple months out the year anyways so we should be dying to hear that beautiful sound when we can..
Like i said, ran into a guy the other day with a 97 z28 with an LT4 swap; long tube headers and O/R y with LM1 and it sounded great! Plus his was an auto, so I think I can manage with my 5th and 6th overdrive gears..
Then be preppared to hear lots of RASP. LT + ORY + LM = way too much noise.
After a couple weeks of that you'll be looking for a muffler of some kind to replace the resonator.

Love my SLP only thing i hate is how low the stupid thing is to the ground. But ya the sound gets old if on long trips. Thats why i installed SOUND DEADENER . Now its prefect. But like said earlier, we only drive a few months out of the year and how many long trips do you plan on taking?
LS6 cam, LS6 valve springs, built tranny w/ 3k vigilante converter, 160 t-stat, SLP exhaust and headers, HAL suspension and go-fast juice
exactly I only daily drive the car in the nice months which here in michigan are a dime a dozen so I think Ill manage.. and I really dont drive the car on any longer trips, I mean who wants to see a white Firebird Formula anyways right?
I think Ill manage for the time being untill i can afford to run some electric cutouts and then Ill think about the muffler..but I liked what I heard from outside the car and in..Im sold on them!
