first off. I hope you know you will have to cut your front bumper for the firehawk hood to work. Secondly superhawks are only made by U.S. Exotics, roger is the owner and there have only been a few ever made. If you contact him through ebay he could probably make you one. I was in the market to buy a hood for my old car and I talked quite a bit to roger and he was gonna cut me an awesome deal before I decided to instead sell the car and get a ws6 car. LS1tech is your best bet to find these hoods used, but neither come up for sale very often if ever..-Derek-

Check the classifieds on Fbody forums like LS1tech. My hood came from a firehawk being parted out. I get a lot of compliments on my hood because you dont see them often.sigpic

superhawk hood is too big and gaudy if you ask me. Personal preferance. Also not a huge fan of all the extractors on the mecham hood. Personally I would go for a raptor hood.... ever so slightly larger but same style as the firehawk hood and no mods of the bumper are needed.sigpic

its a shame us exotics sold off the original superhawk hood. I've only been able to track down about 5 to date, the original superhawk hood was just a TINY bit more aggresive nostrils than the firehawk, most would think it was a firehawk hood, but it definately looked better. The new style superhawk's nostrils are far too big and look gaudy like you said. When in contact with roger he said he no longer had the molds for the original superhawk hoods and was now selling the new style, when up on ebay they went for around 900 bucks usually, he offered me one for cheaper because he had a buyer back out, I'm not going to disclose the price though. If you want to get ahold of roger look up his name on ebay, i think it was exactly "U.S. Exotics" but Its been a while so I'm not positive. Search firebird hoods and he might have one of his ws9 hoods up for sale on there yet.Originally posted by Superman09 View Postsuperhawk hood is too big and gaudy if you ask me. Personal preferance. Roger made my hood along time ago. I got the last one for the LT1 style firebird. He can be hard to get a hold of, but his work is the best.
