    1967-1969 Chevy Camaro (Pro Street?)

    I am thinking about getting rid of my Trans Am and possibly my R6 and getting a late 60's Camaro... I would prefer something that is a weekend warrior, maybe even Pro Street. If I find one that is reasonable, I will most likely jump on it.

    I have found one that is a 69, 427, 12 bolt rear, new paint, rust free, fuel cell, new pro stars, new MT Drags, racing seats, harness, roll cage, etc... It runs 10.30s all day for $21,000, but it needs carpet and gauges. Does that sound like a decent deal?

    Unfortunately I have limited knowledge as to what a car like this is worth, can you guys shed some light?

    Also, if you have any good leads to one of these cars, or see a good deal, I would be greatly appreciative if you pass it my way!

    my dad always told me with older cars look for anything they did to cover cancerous rust, magnet for areas that could be bondod other then that its a judgement call sounds like a good deal.

      Carpet and gauges are cheap.

      But 1st gens, especially 69 are out there in price. It took me about 4 years to find one I could live with that didnt cost an arm and a leg.

      Without seeing the car and more info, that price seems fair.

        But at that price, it either doesn't run 10.30s (that's a $15-20K drivetrain), or there's something wrong with it...

            Oh, I dont know. 16-17K. Its a 10 footer.
