  • I need this in black

Did these come in black? If so, I need the pair. No one I know is able to find them.

I'm not sure I've ever seen them in Black, Robin. Even in my '89 w/tan interior they are gray. You may have to resort to a quality plastic paint.

100% positive that they were black on my 86 firebird. I don't think that they were painted either, but I could be wrong.

There ya go robin. The ones in that picture look a little bit different. If that isn't what you need, maybe get ahold of the people there at hawks thirdgen? They seem to be able to get their hands on a lot of third gen stuff.

You could also use something like SEM I think it's called. It's a two stage paint - first stage opens the pores of the plastic, second stage dyes the plastic.

Yeah that example was off the earlier years. I'm pretty sure you will have to do what B suggested. SEM is a quality plastic paint that holds up well when done correctly. I've used it in the past on some of the cars I've owned, and was very pleased.
