I need a headliner for my 91 firebird. As long as the backing is solid I'll deal with it. I'm just sick of not having one in my car.

Not too much, maybe $40. I've seen these get sold gor cheep but you dont wanna have to have it shipped because that'd cost more than the item. I know they sell the abs plastic ones online but I reallc canr afford the $300+ they want for those.I'm much more active on TGO as they have more info pertaining to my model, but I do stop by from time to time.

Good point, but with the way money is I'd go without one before i spend that much for a headliner.
I would recover, but I bought the car without one. The guy said the one in it was sagging then he broke it trying to get it down. PLEASE, if anyone knows where I can find one tell me.
Are there any good jy's with third gens in em I could look in? None of the salvage places around me have any firebirds or Camaros.I'm much more active on TGO as they have more info pertaining to my model, but I do stop by from time to time.

I think you'd be real lucky to find a decent headliner for $40, and especially lucky to find one in a junkyard. There is one on thirdgen.org that needs to be covered going for around $130 shipped, but at that price you might as well just opt for a new one. Good luck.Last edited by Iroc'nthe87; April 8th, 2009, 03:56 PM.Makin Torque.

If I lived closer to this guy I'd have one for less than that.

that's a pretty big thing to ship.
Let me look.
Whats your TOP dollar you will spend?
Here's the deal....We had a parts car, We took it all apart. Well it had that plastic headliner piece. But it has a red headliner on it. So I would have to take it to get it recovered.
Then I could sell you my foam one that is in my car now.
And I just had that recovered 2 years ago.
I'm calling to see what they will charge me to recover the ABS one.
But I wont sell the one I have now (black) For $40.00
I will not ship it, you will have to pick it up.Last edited by tenpin842; April 9th, 2009, 09:09 AM.sigpic

Sorry Gary, I would get that one recovered so I can put it back into my car.Originally posted by WMCC Gary View PostTodd what would you have to have for the RED Headliner?
And to get it re covered would cost me $150.00.
I like the plastic one a lot better then the factory foam one.
I actually would not sell it, I'd keep it for my car. Even if this deal does not go through.Last edited by tenpin842; April 9th, 2009, 10:48 AM.sigpic

Not $40, but not $300 either. I'm getting a black one for $176 + $60 shipping. Not too too bad, but it is ABS. If you get it uncovered, it's only $132.
Good luck with it.

Something that big is considered oversize, and is A LOT more to ship.
I still would never cut one in half.sigpic
