  • ford explorer 5 speed shifter

    hello i need a 5 speed shifter for a 1991 ford explorer mine broke and i need a shifter asap. i have to have my vehicle so i can get to work and to get arrens done so if anyone has a shifter that they would sell me or if anyone can find me a shifter let me know thank you

      i know it's not a fbody or even a chevy but it's what i could afford and now i need to fix this so i have a vehicle again

        Maybe…you need to expound on the actual status of the mentioned “shifter”?

          what do you mean. its a 5 speed manual shifter and the mounting plate has a few snap rings that snaped and got caught inside the plate and ruined the shifter.

                is anyone able to find one at all i am having horrible luck i have tried every auto slavage and none have one and i have looked everywhere i can think of.

                  the transmission is a m5od 4wheel drive. the tranmission is found in explorers, rangers, broncos, f series. can anyone help find me a shifter

                      thank you for sending me that site i looked and there is only 5 in michigan and the closest one is 62 miles away and practically in detroit well it's in canton and my parents wont drive there so i am still on the search for one.
