Just to make sure...you realize they're the same seller, right?

Just the eBay one is cheaper.

            And it should fit fine.

Try and find one of these models:
              Kenwood KDC-BT742U

That's the newest version and the USB is directly in the front. The ones with the USB cord will work but it's a pain to route the USB cord to somewhere usable.

I know that the most obvious difference is the 64 color display vs. 4, but they look identical aside from that.

I'm gonna go with the 738 if I decide to buy a kenwood. I really like the 64 color display, and the buttons are blue and red! (Close to pink and blue).

My bad - didn't realize you were looking at ones with multiple colors on the display. I've always just stuck with the basic color displays.

No biggie, I just think they look cooler!

The only thing I'm worried about is if the little lights can burnt out. I don't know what an organic electro-luminescent (OEL) display is, so I don't know the mechanism of the bulbs or whatever. Are they like tv's or LED lights?

I hate not knowing this stuff. I hate electronics. Cars I understand, but not anything electronic!

                          I don't think they'll burn out.

My JBL El Kameleon had a multi-color display (albiet, older) and it still worked when I got the car. The head unit was like 15 years old...

Good luck and let us know how it turns out!

Does the one you want have programmable colors...pink and blue?

                                Will do.
I'm not sure if it has programable colors. It doesn't say in the item description. Kenwood's website sucks, Sonic Electronics has a way more detailed description, but it does't say.
The buttons are blue and red - that's close to pink and blue.

I want to get that "FIREBIRD" HU mount with the LED lights. It's for 4th gens, but I think it will fit in my car. Do you know? I'm gonna get it with blue and then buy pink so I can put the "fire" part in pink.

I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am!
