6 speed is very hard to find in 98's. Check out Motownmuscle.com or sembmusclecarclub.com. They got some stuff in the classifieds! I'm sure ang will find something!

it say's 98 or NEWER josh....finding a 6 speed shouldn't be too hard, but trans am's seem to be more $$ than camaros, when i was lookin for my car...i was lookin for a WS6 or SS in a 6speed.... ended up my SS had the least miles and already had the cam...and it was the least expensive of all the F-Body's i found!.....

PAGING ANG!!!.....we need your autotrader expertise! $13,500 is a hard bargain for an LS1 Bird though

Let me "REPHRASE MATT" The year that i found most hard to find a 6-speed in was the 98. You won't have trouble finding one especially if he dosn't care if it's an auto. Tell yoru friend he should of been looking during winter when prices were down. Now people are going to shoot them up!

Thanks for the help. We will keep looking. If anyone see's a deal let me know. To tell ya the truth I kinda want a LS1 but I kinda fell in love with my 97. The hardest part about finding a Fbody is finding one that is priced right, has the options you want, and wasn't beat on. It took me one year to find my LT1.

I washed mine for the first time since I've owned it and I came to realize just how badly they treated my car. I am 99% sure it was a winter driver, probably the beater with the caddys the previous owner had. I topped off the tank at $2.62 for midgrade and got to see how rusty my gas tank is. I've got a lot of work to do on this car to bring it up to par with some of you other guys.

I will look around for you. Would you take one from OH or IN?

Dang is it just me or do these people seem to want a lot for their birds? I bought mine two years ago with 50K for $11,500 and it was bone stock and owned by a wealthy woman who pretty much babied it. Maybe mine is worth more than I give it credit for, you should be able to find one around 100K for $8 grand or so.

right now its going to be hard to find a nice formy or a T/A for a decent price, because spring is here and summer is coming, i found my 00 Black Formula M6 Hardtop for $14000 with 43,000 miles, i talked them down to $13,000, you have to be constantly looking, when i found my car it was only on the lot for 2 days, GOOD LUCK!!!
