Wanted CHEAP! LS1 T56.

Curious - why not just go with the LT1 T56 and do the conversion? It looks like the LT1 T56 is cheaper than the LS1.

When I looked into converting my LT1 T56 it just wasn't financally wise to do so...sold I sold it and bought a LS1 unit.
