Looking for my old Camaro

I'm looking for my old car. I bought a new 1995 Z28 in January of 1996 at Applegate Chevrolet in Flint, Michigan. I stupidly traded it in to Superior Pontiac in Flint Michigan in July of 2006. The car is Red with Firethorn Red cloth. T-tops, pw,pl, keyless, tilt, cruise, G80, 3.23 perfromance axle, 4l60E 4spd auto trans and Bose gold audio CD player. If anyone bought this car from Superiors used lot, or knows someone who did, someone who has a car just like this, Knows where one like this is, please let me know. I was dumb to trade it back then and if I can get it back in descent shape I would love to have that opportunity. Thanks guys.

Tell me about it. I was young and dumb and didn't realize what I had. On top of the car being rare, it was a factory freak. With 4200 miles on the odometer and nothing done to the car except the first oil change ( converting to mobile one ) on a 77 degree day it went 13.86 @99.99 mph. From my knowledge of LT1 cars that very fast for a stocker. My dad had never driven the car and I let him make a pass and he went 14.01. I also ran a 13.89 the same day to back up the 13.86.

I remember some guy on the thirdgen.org board was talking about how he tracked down a car his dad used to own..

if you have the vin info still, you can do a carfax search on it, and find out where the last place it was sold at, and registered at.. and figure it out from there.

check with yout insurance agent, they may still have the vin

Man I would, but I've changed Agents since that time. I was wondering if I call State Farm if they could find me in their archives.

if you have a vin I think secretary of state could help you, otherwise it might be worth a shot to talk to that dealer, i doubt they keep inventory databases that far back though.
