dell inspiron laptop battery

my battery on my laptop took a crap, if any body has one laying around or a broken dell that can be used for parts, pm me a price and the specs on the battery

Id check ebay, that where I buy alot of our dell laptop battery's for work, cheap and most are actually dell ones brand new. Even the ones that arent seem to work fine and sometimes actually last longer.

There was a recall on those a long time ago. It may depend on some special number or something, but its worth checking out to see if yours was part of the recall. You could get a new one for free.

how or where do i go to about finding the information on that?

I'm not really sure. I'd go to Dells website and look for something about recalls. The only reason I know about it is because I kept getting pop ups on my computer about it. They'll ask you to put in some special numbers to determine if you need a new one or not.
