Any that have been yanked out but running (perhaps for a bigger motor?). Trying to do a rebuild the easiest way possible: To a motor that's already pulled to replace the existing motor. Just wanting to freshen up the drivetrain a bit.

If you want to buy this you could just swap the heads and intake and be good to go. If you bought it I might even trade you intakes.

I had heard a few things from the guys on the FirebirdV6 forum on using a transverse engine and making it longitudinal. I know I couldnj't use the trans and it would probably be cheaper to just have it machined so that it took off the miles, but I'm concerned about how well it would fit the K member, bolt up to the 4l60E longitudinal trans and such.

Honestly, for $400, that's a steal, compared to the $3000 in machining and parts I would've done to mine (let alone the time it would take to do it in early spring and be done by a reasonable time). I have a close friend with a shop that could help with the work while I'm at work to pay him. Granted, the supercharging wouldn't be nearly what some have run, but a little more power under the hood wouldn't hurt anything. Anyone know of the possibility of the Riv motor fitting in the Bird engine bay (I would assume that the Riv PCM and such would also have to be retro fitted to the Bird?).

The engine will fit, the blower is where you're going to run into issues. You'll have to modify the blower case and fab an elbow to put the throttle body to the side of the engine and facing in the right direction, or else it will hit the firewall/cowl. Also the water neck is in a different position, so the coolant routing will have to be modified. All in all it CAN be done, but the effort outweighs the benefits. If you re-use your heads and intake though, you could use the long block, although unless you changed the pistons out it would lower the compression, but the rods are stronger in the L67s.

Hope some of that made sense. I kind of squeezed a lot of information in there real quick. If you have any more questions let me know. I followed a build of someone who did this on FullThrottleV6, I might be able to point you to that thread as well.

Like I said, I'll buy the blower off you if you buy it.
