You do know that just any camaro key fob will not work right? The chip will have to be swapped, And I am not sure if you can do that.

Im guessing any GM key fob from the general year will work.

Ebay has lots and just swap your chip and a new battery and your in business.

your wrong blue thunder any fob with p/n 16245100 will work theres a procedure to makeing a new fob work that takes 1 min so theres no need to swap "chips"

because ive done it before, my other camaro didnt have a fob so i used the fob from my 98 saturn 0 probs

only works for some cars and some years of those cars, I have a keyfob that I was going to use for a 1999 grand am gt, it looks very similiar to my firebird one but not sure if itll work on your car. I was going to put it on my gf's gt because she had some piece of crap aftermarket thing on there. Went to the dealer because with 1999 grand am gts a dealer computer program is required to recalibrate it. Found it the car wasnt ever even equipped with keyless entry lol.

Let me know if you want the keyfob the numbers on the back are.. gm uta 25678792

as long as the part numbers are the same and its actually a good fob itll work, problem is gm made dozens of different fobs (ea w/ its own P#) for different vehicles that all look the same so people think they should work

Usually, when I get a new battery, I'll do a "learn" procedure. Just hit lock and unlock at the same time while pointing at the car and when the locks actuate, it's reprogrammed.
