Currently replacing mine. You need to figure about $350 - $500 for parts alone. I ordered my Opti from Summit racing because the price is competitive and the shipping is fast. I was told NOT to skimp out on these and not to buy anything less that the AC Delco unit. You don't want an Ebay, Summit, or Accel unit from what I'm told.
Keep in mind you might as well get a new water pump. They run about $200 from Summit racing. I'm installing an electric pump.
I made the mistake of not ordering an OPTI harness. I broke my connectors, so be carefull when you remove those. The connectors get weak over time. A new connector cost about $30 from Summit racing.
They aren't cheap, but at the same time you want to do it right the first time, or your out an opti a few days, weeks, months down the road, and your in the same boat.Comment
