Trooof
most people go for the sound i guess
i dont see a nice 3in flowing y pipe and catback being not enough for a lt1
theres a way to make a y pipe sound good its in the design
cause my new y pipe is gonna be a work of art when im done this winter, al nicely tig welded

Agreed...sound is the only advantage they offer...Originally posted by DanO View PostTrue duals are a waste of time in my opinion. Unless your exhaust pressure becomes too high with a 3-3.5" single there is no power benefit to doing so.Originally posted by Redd8407I WANT NOISE! SPEED! It annoys me more then anything.

Ill disagree, TD's an x-pipe will always scavenge better than a y-pipe.Originally posted by DanO View PostTrue duals are a waste of time in my opinion. Unless your exhaust pressure becomes too high with a 3-3.5" single there is no power benefit to doing so.
However ill agree in the sense that the difference is not worth the cost/effort/etc.
Since I heard an impala SS with a nice TD setup... the days of my single exhaust are numbered

What can you expect with a Forced Induction car? Thats the type of vehicle that needs a free flowing exhaust the most. Thats why god invented the electric cutout.Originally posted by Boost Addict View PostDyno showed I lost 19 hp through my dual/dual. It will be going bye bye. Duals with some Dynomax race mufflers haha.
