True duals are a waste of time in my opinion. Unless your exhaust pressure becomes too high with a 3-3.5" single there is no power benefit to doing so.

          Trooof

most people go for the sound i guess

i dont see a nice 3in flowing y pipe and catback being not enough for a lt1

theres a way to make a y pipe sound good its in the design cause my new y pipe is gonna be a work of art when im done this winter, al nicely tig welded

Agreed...sound is the only advantage they offer...

Ill disagree, TD's an x-pipe will always scavenge better than a y-pipe.

However ill agree in the sense that the difference is not worth the cost/effort/etc.

Since I heard an impala SS with a nice TD setup... the days of my single exhaust are numbered

ill admit i love td's but with the way my car is currently setup (body mounted torque arm) i cant run them

another disadvantage to td's vs a single would be weight

What can you expect with a Forced Induction car? Thats the type of vehicle that needs a free flowing exhaust the most. Thats why god invented the electric cutout.

I would run a non catted y pipe with 4" going back to a muffler split to a pair of 3" Only if your pushing some HP.. It sounds good too...

ground clearance is a big issue.. especially if your car is lowered keep that in mind.
