I need a new ERG valve for my 3.1. If I'm not mistaken, the 3.4 used the same valve. The diaphram is totally gone on the one I have now so it's really running bad now. Need it ASAP!

Yank it and block it off. I had the EGR taken off of my car.

Would taking it off hurt my mileage or power at all? Or are they only on there to help with emmisions? None of my previous cars had an egr so I really don't know. Take a piece of high heat gasket material or something and take the EGR valve off, put the gasket stuff on and bolt the EGR valve back on.2015 Silverado
