  • V6 EGR valve

I need a new ERG valve for my 3.1. If I'm not mistaken, the 3.4 used the same valve. The diaphram is totally gone on the one I have now so it's really running bad now. Need it ASAP!
I'm much more active on TGO as they have more info pertaining to my model, but I do stop by from time to time.

Yank it and block it off. I had the EGR taken off of my car.

Would taking it off hurt my mileage or power at all? Or are they only on there to help with emmisions? None of my previous cars had an egr so I really don't know. And how exactly would I go about blocking it off if I did?

Take a piece of high heat gasket material or something and take the EGR valve off, put the gasket stuff on and bolt the EGR valve back on.
