  • I need a fuel pressure regulator!!!

does anybody know where i can get a replacement regulator in the tank? i dont want an aftermarket inline one, i just wanna drop the tank scrap the old one and pop in the new one. I would prefer adjustable but stock would work. the morons out here at the dealership thought they got me one but it is the part that goes on the fuel rail. Do they even make one to replace the stocker? any info would be appreciated... I need some help finding this part so any links or info would be much obliged. Oh yeah and the rims were sold for 1200 too. Cant beat that... Jeremy

Why do you need one? Are you having pressure issues are volume issues?

      none

my fuel pressure in my car is supposed to be at 60, it fluctuates from 37 to 42 and when i get on it, the pressure drops as i acceleratem then goes back to 42ish when i let off of her. When i turn her on, she goes from 0-25 back to 0 before i can start her, it takes about 10 cranks then she builds pressure and starts. It holds pressure around 42 while running but will flutter and misfire like hell when i go past half throttle. I am not sure what the hell is going on with it but am sure the regulator has something to do with it. I am not sure what volume pressure is??? i have a walboro 255lph pump and 42# injectors.... any insight????? Jeremy

Do you have an upgraded wire harness for the pump? I was told they are a must for higher horsepower guys with the Walbro pump. I don't know much about the regulators.

I would bet you have a fuel pump issue vs. a regulator. Regulators seldom go bad, pumps go bad all the time.

Sounds like a pump issue to me.
