  • Pacesetter Install part list?

So my headers should be coming in the next couple of days. I need to know what all I will need and where I can buy it.

Someone mentioned Abbot racing for gaskets, can I buy them online?

Also suggested was some locking bolts, where would I order those?

Also can I use my factory "Y" pipe with these or will I need a new one. If so where can I order one?

    Thanks in advance!

P.S. Anybody know if FedEx trucks are turbocharged? I keep hearing them driving through my parking lot. I swear I hear a turbo whine!!!

I'm pretty sure most every diesel vehicle around is turbocharged.

I'm sure there are exceptions: But not big delivery trucks/semis/busses...

...the turbo is about the size of your head.

I think everyone told you you'd need to have a y-pipe made before you purchased them, as for the gaskets and bolts check online performance stores of some of the site sponsors. Also as Kyle mentioned most every diesel vehicle is turbocharged and they whistle not whine lol I have a couple diesel turbos lying around if your interested but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't work on your car.

              1. You will need a custom 3" ypipe to be made

              2. Contact Lance at abbott racing heads for the gaskets. He can be PMd on ftv6.com or you can email him. www.abbottracingheads.com/gm3800.htm

              3. Go to your hardware store in town and buy grade 8 bolts. No need for locking ones, just extra money. If you tighten them down properly the first couple weeks they will be fine for the life of the car.
