Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
So I was moving the Exploder so they could plow the space out. Lets just say I put it in reverse, backed out, shifted into drive and kept backing up. LOL. The damned thing will not shift into any other gear, even park! Oh well New Year, time for a new car right?
Anybody got something driveable for sale for under $2K?

Maybe this should be in the Classifieds Section.
Hmm Sounds familiar,
On Monday my 96 Tahoe had everything but reverse. Now the Trans is out and needs to be rebuilt. and put back in.
You give me the reverse I'll send you the other gears LOL
Ben. . . Did you check the trans fluid like I told you on the phone? Is the shifter still "Clicking" when you shift, or is it sliding loosely? I don't know if that vehicle uses a cable or rod system for the trans, but it could have just become disconnected somehow. . .
Look into Subaru's, you can get some pretty decent AWD wagons cheap if you look hard enough.
Well I got the truck to a trans shop. They say it is a shift cable and it'll cost about $300 to fix. I told them to go ahead. But there is another issue now, the parking brake is locked up. I engaged the parking brake when after I backed it into a space and then disengaged it when the tow truck guy showed up. The trans shop guy said he can just cut the parking brake cable and be done with it. Do I really need a parking brake anyway?
