If you want good gas mileage, I would say go with some decent heads, a stock intake (maybe) and everything else stock. Maybe an underdrive pulley kit and an A/C delete kit. I'm doing that to my LT1 before the install, simply because I won't ever use the A/C anyway lol. I also noticed an increase in power and mileage when I changed the oil with full synthetic. That helps out a lot. I hope I have helped you out somehow! lolNick H.

I wouldn't be too concerned if it was sprayed a small amount (100-125 shot). Just ask to have a leakdown test done. Your M6 won't bolt up to the LS1. You need a LS1 input shaft if I'm not mistaken, not sure if the bellhousing mates up either.A bunch of bolt-ons, heads/cam, LT's 9" rear, 4.30 gear. Best on Nittos 11.90 @ 120.4 w/ 1.89 60'
SOLD.

yeah your right. well since this post i changed my mind and am just going to build up a better LT1 for cheap. maybe find a built t-56 while i'm at it!
I talked to the guy and he said it's not a COMPLETE motor, it's missing alot of things such as intake, cam, cam sensors and rockers....
And for the trans it's a differnet bell housing and longer input shaft, and the bolt pattern is off by one bolt i believe too. Bastards!
