WTB - laptop / notebook

I'm looking for a cheap notebook for garage use

doesnt have to be anything special or ultra high powered as it'll be used for internet and service manuals

it does need to have either a usb port or built in wifi adapter
also would prefer something that has a usable battery system

anything out there?

ive got a laptop that i bought from a mifbody member that i used for exactly what your doing. its the Sony Vaio PCG-GRZ630. heres the original thread that shows the problem wiht the missing screw. its nothing big. i bought a wireless adapter for it that sticks in the port on the side of the laptop. i have XP loaded on it and will provide it as well. id like to get around $250 for it but you can shoot me an offer.
