We have 2 454 complete motors.
But, thats taking the easy way out. We want a 455. Would settle for a 400......but thats if we can NOT get a 455.
We had a olds 455 for $200.00.........but its still an olds motor.sigpicComment

My buddy has a Pontiac 455 out of a 72 Catalina he really wants to get rid of. The motor has been sitting in his garage for quite a few years. It would need to be completely gone through. The guy he got it from freshened it up & stuck it in a 78 TA, then his tranny blew up. Out it came and it's been setting for 15 + yrs. We pulled plugs on it not to long ago and all was oily inside so it appears who ever stored it did it right. I think it's all stock. It is complete with intake, alt, dist, bracketry, stock quadra jet & stock exhaust manifolds. I think it's only rated @ 300 HP but sick torque #'s. Said he wants $200.00 firm for it.
