IT Specialist/Technical Support Rep, part time

We are a small IT support firm interested in adding a field engineer to our team. We support small businesses in the tri-county area. Most of our clients are in the Bloomfield Hills, Waterford, Commerce, Saint Clair Shores, and Lake Orion areas. Experience with Windows Server, XP, Vista, Windows 7, networking, MS Office, email, and Web experience is required. Must be available during business hours. This is not an entry level position. This is a permanent, contract (1099) position. Hours will vary depending on our current work load, but we do have an immediate need to fill this position, and a base salary may be arranged. Eventual conversion to full time is possible.

The perfect candidate for this position will possess the following core values:

1. Premium Problem Solving Skills – Able to take ownership of problems and solve them, utilizing any necessary resources.
2. High Sense of Urgency – Enthusiastic and proactive in communication and action.

I wish it was full time and not contract otherwise I'd be all over that like a fat boy on a plate of oreos. I'd be a perfect fit but I can't leave a full time, salary position for that.
