  • Vortech Fuel Management Unit 6:1 (FMU)

I have a used Vortech Fuel Management Unit that is the 6:1 ratio. Perfect for you custom turbo or supercharger guys. Bumps up your psi as boost increases to give you the fuel. Same one that comes in the Powerdyne kits. Looking for $80 shipped. Oh yea and it comes with some hoses and such as well

Still cheaper than buying a new one

Is this a universal fit or is it made for your car? Wondering if itll work on a thirdgen fuel rail.

universal, they work on any car, not just a 3.8l fbody. You can also get discs to change the ratio if you want more than a 6:1 ratio. Bump up fuel pressure 6psi for every 1lb of boost

Alright.. that's what I figured. Dont know what i'd need to convert from those stupid saginaw fuel line fittings on my car...

what do you gotta have for it?

for lines? it has some rubber lines on it now, so if you had some rubber lines it would work.

                            Taken from vortech's website:

The Vortech Standard Fuel Management Unit (FMU) is designed for use on multi-point electronic fuel injected engines. It is a secondary fuel regulator that installs in series with a stock regulator on the return line to the tank. The unit increases fuel pressure in proportion to boost pressure (this assumes the pump being utilized is of sufficient pressure and flow to deliver the fuel required).
