If anyone is looking to buy an LS1 engine I have a friend in South Carolina that's selling a complete longblock minus the rear cover. Everything else will be included from injectors to manifolds. He's looking to get $1000. If anyone is interested please let me know. Mike

Here's the direct post from another site.

I bought this shortblock last May from F-body Motorsports as a replacement when my factory block spun a bearing. It has one dyno session, and less than 5k miles (from me), and NO DRAG STRIP passes (from me).

The guy from F-body Motorsports said the motor had 64k on the clock when it was removed from a 2000 Camaro Z28 and replaced with a 402c.i. for a customer.

        I will include:
        LS1 241 casting heads with Z06 springs
Rollmaster Timing set (less than 5k miles)
Ported LS6 oil pump (less than 5k miles)
FAST Billet Fuel rails, AN fittings, braided lines, caps, and factory style quick disconnnect to connect to factory fuel lines(less than 5k miles)
        Smooth Bellows
        Factory cast iron manifolds
        Stock intake
        Stock camshaft
        Factory LS1 intake
        Factory Thottle Body
        Valley cover
        Front timing cover
Motor has NEW oil pan gasket, front cover gasket, rear cover gasket
Motor maintained about 45-50psi of oil pressure at idle

        $1,000.

        **Will not include rear cover

I might even go pick it up for someone since I'll be heading down there in the next couple of months.

If I could afford to buy it and all the stuff to convert it into the 80 this year I'd be all over it. Oh well, someday.

Mike, is there any possible way that he would be willing to do payments? I don't have 1000 on hand in one lump sum.
