Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

3 series gears
when i bought them i was told they were used but they look great to me. better than some of the 'new' junk ive seen offered in the past.
you most likely have a 2 series as it was standard on the v6 unless you have the limited slip differential option. otherwise youll have to buy the limited slip diff as well or you could get some adaptors but theres no reason to keep an open diff. the v8's with the lsd's i believe are all 3 series carriers.
really is no reason for selling, they've been sitting around for a year and ive scrapped my plans for install. also thought i could offer a better item for sale than some others on the board.
I think anything over a 3.08 requires a series 3 carrier.
I had a series 2 carrier, but I decided 2.72 to a 3.08 wasnt worth tearing apart my rear end.
So I updated to a series 3 so I could get a 3.73 gear.
So depending what you have in there, I'm not sure.
whatever floats your boat, it took me two seconds to find thoes searching for motive gears, with nothing after it.
and you've owned your car for how long? ive been reading about fbodys for over three years. GM > ALL

Reading about cars and working are cars are two different things. I could spend 10 years reading about nuclear fusion and never be able to apply any of it.
On a side note: If you 2 have nothing positive (as far as responses go), you can save the chilish bickering for the for PM's or in person. Bottom line, IF YOU'RE NOT GONNA BUY, DON'T TROLL.
thank you. but in defense you don't need to work on a car to realize the reliability of said products when you're on multiple forums as people constantly are posting about what is good , what is not, gives problems etc. and youll learn more that way than you ever would working with locals compared to reading about everyones cars across the us.

I see your side, but I tend to take most of my internet reading w/ a grain of salt. It seems that a lot of folks on other forums no everything about anything. One of my favorite qotes, "Welcome to the internet, where everyones a mechanic and drives a 10 second car." That's all from me 00firebird, no more trolling 4 me either. Good luck w/ the sale.
Why hasn't anybody bought these yet? If these are still avilable in a next week let me know, I just bought a T/A Rear end with 3.42's but 3.73's might be fun too!
