Memphis MClass 12" DVC Sub - $50

Selling a 12" dual voice coil sub that came with my car. It's in great shape and really hit hard when it was in the car. I removed it so I would be able to use the trunk well to house my OE tonneau cover, and I couldn't figure a simple enough way to fit the 12 elsewhere so I went with a stealthbox and 10". Looking for $50.

It's rated at 200w RMS, 400w max, but Memphis equipment seems to be notoriously underrated. I don't have any literature on it other than the spec sheet Memphis copied to me when I contacted them a couple of years back. They also provided the specs that for a sealed enclosure 1.0 – 1.5 cubic ft.; for a ported enclosure 3.00 cu ft. with a 12.5” x 2” port 21” long.

If it doesn't sell, you can always build a box for it, and run it off a dedicated power amp (I have my 10" MTX running off a Crown d150a sII, connected to a Denon receiver, for my computer's 5.1 surround sound) to add some punch, if you have a receiver somewhere. Perhaps even the garage, if you have a setup like that.

That's why I had to ditch it....the 12" just doesn't work like I wanted in a 'vert. A coupe, I can see, but I tried everything I could think of in the 'vert and came up empty handed.

Yes and I cant just "buy" a stealth box it appears to take up the spare tire area in my car like I would want. I cant build or use my old box because I like to carry my T-Tops with me, so I am very limited.

I always just folded my rear seat down and put the t-tops on there. No way they were fitting in the back with the two 12s.

But I think you'd need to get into interior panel modifications to fit it where the spare tire normally goes in a 3rd gen.

Yeah I am not doing that for my t-tops nor do I want 2 12's either, I do not want my old setup back. The 4th gens have a box that fits and looks nicely in that area, thats what I would want.

Yeah, if you wanted people to be able to sit in the back, you were screwed. But I had the T-top bag, so they didn't go anywhere otherwise.

The 4th gen's interior tucks over in that spot, so you get space, whereas the 3rd gen just has the panels that go straight back. Makes it tough without fabrication.
