  • Gauging Interest - 5.3 LM7 possibly for sale?

    Hey All,

I picked up an LM7 early this year to be the power plant for my car down the road sometime. but I really haven't done anything with the engine since I picked it up, I had a machine shop lined up to do work on it in trade of me rebuilding their website, they have all but officially said they are backing out on the deal, so I am sitting with this engine, and am thinking of just selling it and using the cash to just finish up the last few things on the car to get it going the way it sits, vs holding onto it until I am ready.

The engine is a 2003 LM7 5.3 out of a Tahoe, I was told it has around 70k miles on it, I have no proof other than they showed me some paperwork from a junkyard that said it had that mileage on it.

so here is everything I know about the engine, let me know if there is any interest.. I'd be asking like $500 for it all

    -2003 LM7 out of a Tahoe
-862 heads (each head has a broken exhaust bolt on the far back bolts)
    -70k(ish) mileage
    -front accessories and starter missing
-truck intake and wiring harness included
    -truck ECU included
-truck exhaust manifolds off, but included

I'll snap a few pics later. Let me know if there is any interest at all.

    -Jeremy

No, iron block. L33 was the aluminum variant.

Iron Block (I was gonna boost, which makes the iron block a better choice)
