  • Need a Garage Desktop PC? Parts?

I figured I'd post this here in the event some of you needed a cheap desktop PC either for a get-me-by, or a garage PC to run your how-to software out in the garage.

I have two Desktop PC's - both Mini-towers with some decent features that I am going to be listing on Craigslist shortly.
Both are clean and have been formatted, re-installed, and gone through ready for their next assignment. Both can run Windows 7 easily, Win 8 and Win 10 require less hardware resources, so there's no reason it wouldn't run on these either. You'd have a fairly quick rig if you installed an SSD hard drive to either below. I'd rather these go to someone that needs them, or can use the parts.

PC 1: Dell Inspiron 531 - Silver Mini tower, MATX, Card reader, 4GB ram, Wireless LAN, AMD X2 based, has slots for PCIe, PCI, and PCIeX16 graphics, DVD burner, 250GB HDD, Win Vista, can run Win 7, 8, 10. $50 OBO
PC 2: Acer Aspire - Black/silver Mini Tower, MATX, boat tons of expandability with this case AMD X2, 4GB ram, Corsair 430W Modular PSU, 500GB HDD, Card reader, floppy, DVD burner, Wireless LAN $90 OBO

I also have a boat ton of old PC hardware that I'm going to be throwing out - getting out of the PC Repair business and I just don't need all this stuff.
    Intel CPU's - Socket 478, 775, 1150 Core Duo, Core2 Duo, etc
    AMD CPU's - AMD X2's, Athlon's
3 Sound Blaster 5.1 channel premium sound cards
Desktop/Laptop memory of all kinds, mostly 512/1GB sticks. I do have 1 8GB DDR3 Laptop stick if your laptop is capable of handling it.
    PC Power cables etc

Let me know if you have any interest in this stuff.

Hmmm. I might be interested in picking up one or both of the towers, the wife and I have been considering getting each of the kids their own computer to surf the net, so that we have less fighting. Let me run it by here, let you know.

Damn, knew I forgot something at Camarofest! Forgot completely to talk to you about this, I want this one for the kids. I need to take a trip out to Kevins to drop off a quarter panel, might be able to set something up for this weekend to meet up?
