The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. I have a set of brand new, still in the box, never installed BMR lowering springs. Paid $250, selling for $200 plus the ride. BMR is going to charge me a 15% restocking fee on the return, plus return shipping. Just thought I would throw them out there before I do that. Save yourself $50 on a nice set of springs...I decided to go in a different direction.
For anyone thinking about these, the are a set of progressively wound springs that wil give you a variable rate. In uncompressed, non-loaded state, the front spring rate is only 18 lbs/in greater (310 vs. 292) than stock GM springs, while progressing al the way up to 550, which is the same as a set of Stranos.
The rears are a bit stiffer than others on the market, with stock GM running 114 lbs/in., Stranos from 100-150, and BMRs from 145-170.
From what I have been able to find out, you can expect an average drop of 1" versus stock GM springs.
In my opinion, FWIW, these would be a particularly good choice if you are into autocross.

Just to clarify only rears are progressive, fronts are linear. I have the front springs in my car. They are an excellent choice for autocross. A little stiff for a daily driver depending on your tolerance, but certainly good for a weekend warrior.
Still have these, never returned them. Thought I would throw them out there again. They drop the car 1.25" all the way around. Might use them someday if they don't sell, but if somebody could use them now, great! $200 picked up.
