True. Most new vehicles have some sort of amplified stereo. It can be a headache to integrate into them. A lot of the time you'll take away from the sound quality more often than add to it.

Yup. I still have a bunch of F-body specific stuff I've thought of putting in the BMW. Problem is there is no way at all to cleanly install a new HU. It's not a standard DIN size and it would not fit well at all with the rest of the dash.

Amp and sub are still available. Willing to split, was looking for $125 obo for the pair. I removed the sub from the box so you can really see it - it's a damn beefy 10" sub. Look at the magnet on the thing! Again, this would be PERFECT for a nice sealed enclosure in the passenger side trunk well of a 4th gen! Also gives an idea of how small this amp really is - that's a 10" sub next to it. Sub ideally needs a .6 cu ft box for a sealed enclosure - fairly compact.

Amp/sub/box still available! I'm really surprised these haven't gone - nice small amp and the sub is perfect for one of the stealth boxes that'd tuck into the driver's side of the trunk on a 4th gen.
