interested, but I'd need to look into how well these work with the 85mm truck MAFs. Does the lid have a hole for the IAT sensor? I'd rather have one w/o.

Yes the lid has the hole for the IAT sensor. I might be coming to that side of the state the weekend of the 16th.Originally posted by hoogiesngrinderz View Postinterested, but I'd need to look into how well these work with the 85mm truck MAFs. Found this on LS1tech:
I'm currently running a silicone tube from the stock lid to the MAF, stock bellow from the MAF to the stock LS1 throttle body. Doesn't fit all that well in the tight space, but it works right now. The other issues is the SLP cold air intake, they interfere with how I'd like to run my B&M trans cooler. I think for $100 I can't go wrong....but I really don't want the hole for the IAT :\ Might have to put cosmetics aside considering the price! The OD on the inlet end of the MAF is appx 98mm
The OD on the exit end of the MAF is approx 93mm.
SLP lid ID is 90mm
SLP lid OD is 100mm.

Yes, yes the car it came off of had a aftermarket hood. I am having trouble loading the other picture at this timeOriginally posted by nascarnate326 View PostSo this will work with the factory/ stock MAF?
Can you get another picture of the blemish where it looks like the hood has hit?
Sorry, I am picky.Attached Files

I'll have to do some more looking around, but if the lid can be plastic welded then I will jump on it.
Edit: I won't literally jump on it

That's no biggy, I know where one is sitting along with a full CME exhaust and rear valance
Sucks being strapped for cash :\ Lid still for sale? I have been looking but I cannot seem to find what kind of plastic it's made out of.
