  • Complete axle assembly from 99 Z28 Auto w/ 65K Miles - Now $250 OBO

Complete axle assembly from 99 Camaro LS1 Z28 Automatic with 65,000 Miles
The assembly is from a southern car that shipped up to Michigan and parted out.
This is a 4 channel rear end with ABS and Traction Control.
I believe the gear ratio is 3:42 but it could be 3:23?

The axle itself is very clean and you can tell it's not from a Michigan car

I'll post up some pictures tonight when I get home

$200 or best offer, need it gone, sold my 00 Camaro SS and have no need for it now.
It was a backup axle for me, I was counting on breaking my original axle but it never happened, then the car sold.

Located in Almont.. local pickup only.

Comes with pan hard bar, sway bar & end links, brake lines, etc.

    Are the gears original?

Auto cars would have had a 2.73 or 3.23's.

    M6 cars had 3.42's.

I believe they are original but I'm not positive on that.
      They are most likely 3.23's

$250 OBO, don't have a car for it anymore.

        Someone needs a 10 bolt.....
If you don't need it now, after it sells it's inevitable your 10 bolt will grenade... Open to all cash offers

To figure out the rear end gearing, take off the rear diff cover, and look at the numbers on the differential carrier.

          42:13 - 3.23
          40:13 - 3.08
          41:12 - 3.42
          41:15 - 2.73

I was told that the differential I bought from a forum member was a 3.23, after I opened it up, found out it was a 2.73. Can't even spin the tires in 1st anymore, but does great on the highway I guess. Just want to save someone a future headache and money.

Adding power makes you faster on the straights. Subtracting weight makes you faster everywhere.

For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day, you shall have a track day, a Sabbath of competing, to time the FIREBIRD; whoever does any work on it shall be put in last place.

            Going on craigslist.
For a serious buyer I will take off the diff cover and check the gearing
