  • G.I. QA1 "R" Series Shocks, 300lb springs, etc

I’m gauging interest for my QA1 shock/spring setup. These are the “R” series shocks which hold compression constant (firm) with adjustable rebound. IMO these are the best street/strip shocks that QA1 offers.

Thinking about selling because I almost never have time to go to the track anymore and I could use the money for some house projects.

    QA1 “R” Series Shocks (QA1 p/n GR502):

    QA1 300 lb Springs (QA1 p/n 15FB300):

    QA1 Spanner Wrench + Thrust Bearing Kit (QA1 p/n 7888-110):

The thrust bearings make the height adjustment much easier!

BMR shock spacers (BMR p/n SA002):

I bought these because some people reported that they could not get the ride height high enough with a similar setup. I didn’t need them and later found out the issues were with people using lighter springs. I will throw them in just in case…

I bought everything from Thunder Racing (prior to them closing) and had around $650-$675 into the setup with shipping.

I would like $375 for everything listed above
    .

I haven’t bought replacement shocks yet so I would also consider trading these for your used front shocks + cash.

These are still installed on my car but if someone shows interest I can get them off within a few days.

I'd trade you my Gen F's - but I don't think that would free up the $$$ that you are wanting

Good luck with the sale/trade Dave.

I'm serious - shoot me a pm of what you are thinking. I need to get the clutch out and see where it's at on life before I make the deal.

Could you really daily drive these things ? I wouldn't really ever go to the track with my car. I'd consider it at your price. I see around 1,000 miles a month. I have oem SLP Bilstein/eibachs but they are about 10 years old now so not sure if you would want those.

Sure you could DD these things. My car is far from a DD (mileage wise) but I wouldn't hesitate a second to daily drive these. On the street I run them somewhere in the middle and they ride fine.
