  • WTT: SBC 383 stroker for turn key lt1

I've got a truck I've been working on for a while that I have built a 383ci stroker for. Now that I think of it, I'm thinking this will be way more motor than I need.

    Motor specs:
    4blt early 80's 350 2 peice rear
Edelbrock performer rpm aluminum heads 70cc combustion 1.60 2.02 valves
Edelbrock performer rpm intake and cam
    Hypurectic pistons
    Vortec connecting rods
    Scat 383 crank
    Crane 1.5 rockers
    Hydrolic lifters
The entire rotating assembly has been proffesionally machine ballanced.
All Parts are brand new minus the heads. The heads have about 30 mins of run time on real mild 350. The orrigional motor I built was a 350 but it had a problem with low oil pressure when warmed up and idleing. I found this out 20 mins after starting it for the first time. Heads are in great condition.
The 383 motor has never been run.

I'd like to trade straight up for a good conditon turn key lt1. Mileage isn't really a problem as long as it's less than 150k miles. If it's up in mileage but doesn't smoke or make noises that's fine.

If I can't find a trade then $2k obo for the motor.

You'd need to eat 3 bowls of that import to equal the power found in just 1 bowl of LS1!
